Caro Robert (1819–1875, Wrocław) – German industrialist of Jewish descent.
Son of Moritz Caro. He was one of the leading figures of Wrocław’s 19th-century business world. He chaired the first supervisory board of the precursor of the present-day “Pafawag” enterprise (train car and machine factory): Breslauer Actien – Gesellschaft für Eisenbahn Wagenbau und Maschinenbau – Anstalt (later renamed to Linke – Hofmann – Busch – Werke). He was also a constructor and founder of the Łabędy (German: Laband) Steelworks, known until today. He was also a shareholder in the Gliwice wire manufacturing company. His son Oscar Caro was a well-known Jewish entrepreneur associated with Gliwice.
