The “Legacy” gallery at POLIN Museum is dedicated to the cultural heritage of Polish Jews. Our goal is to honour the memory of people whose achievements have become the heritage of the subsequent generations, including our own. We have undertaken to present their exceptional biographies, with the vicissitudes of their stories reflecting a number of tumultuous historical events. In shedding a light on these individuals, we have decided to put particular emphasis on their Jewish-Polish ancestry and the impact it bore on their lives.
