The first synagogue of the Swidwin kehilla was built in 1821 (at that time the community numbered almost 100 members) and was located in Glasenappstraße (present-day Wojska Polskiego Street, plot 414/1) on the corner of Neustadt (present-day Nowomiejska Street)[1.1].
