The Synagogue in Nowy Korczyn, Zamkowa Street.

The Synagogue in Nowy Korczyn (Zamkowa Street) was built in 1659. After the destructions resulting from the Northern War, it was rebuilt in 1724. In 1895, it underwent partial reconstruction.
The classicist synagogue was erected out of materials, left after the pulled down royal castle in Nowy Korczyn. The building is oriented and arranged on a rectangular plan. An element from the front, which survived is the classicist portico based on a high pedestal, covering two systematic flights of stairs.
Inside the building, there is an impressive wooden false vault, covered with polychrome from the end of the XIX-th century. Another element, which has survived is a marble cover of the Torah-ark in the form of a columned portico with images of lions.
The synagogue is currently in a state of ruin and an information board warns people from entering the building, which poses a threat of collapsing.
