Joanna Krauze comes from Nałęczów. She studied political science with a Judaic specialization and psychology of social communication. She is an educator, a member of the "Studnia Pamięci" ["Well of Remembrance"] Association, and the founder of the Nomen Omen Foundation. She has worked with, among others, Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage, Taube Center for the Renewal of Jewish Life in Poland, the "Brama Grodzka – Teatr NN" ["Grodzka Gate – NN Theater"] Center, Center for Civic Education. In 2020, she became the head of the Warsaw branch of the Client Earth Foundation, Lawyers for Earth.
