W maju 1942 r. na terenie wsi Strzelce (pow. Chełm) Niemcy zatrzymali 14 Żydów. Rozstrzelali ich obok miejscowego dworu. Ciała ofiar pochowano w miejscu egzekucji. 15 lipca 2009 r., dzięki staraniom Fundacji „Pamięć, Która Trwa” na zbiorowej mogile odsłonięto pomnik.
