A few minutes after 10 AM the religious-cultural Shabaton festival has started in Kielce. For the first time since 1939 and exactly 100 years since its dedication, Kielce’s synagogue will once again fill up with prayers. Collective prayers will also take place by the orthodox and catholic temples. Aside from the official part of the festival, numerous workshops, film previews, exhibitions and strolls await the gathered. Special guests include the Chief Rabbi of Poland Michael Schudrich, Chief Rabbi of Cracow Boaz Pash, guests from Israel and representatives of the Polish Council of Christians and Jews. The updated program may be found here.
