The community was registered in 2009. It consists of more than 1000 members, "Teivah" is a member of the Worldwide Union for Progressive Judaism, which unites almost two million Jews in 43 countries. Jewish religious holidays and Israeli governmental holidays are both celebrated by the community members as well as memorable dates. Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Hupahs and other life cycle ceremonies are also held.

Educational projects:
«Kindergarten» - the program for the youngest ones The training would combine the general educational program, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and a special Jewish program. The children would study Jewish Tradition and history, Hebrew and English, would learn Jewish songs and dances. The children would celebrate Shabbat and Jewish holidays together with their parents.

Family Sunday school
Together with their parents, the children would study Jewish history (including studies in a guide school, held by the best guide on Lviv Jewish history), they would study also Tradition, Hebrew, English, would pass Bar and Bat Mitzvah training, fine arts and basic computer skills training.

Youth Club
The history and Tradition of Jewish people would be taught with the elements of game, the informal communication with the elements of different training and leadership programs would be held.

Programs on Education and Culture
Club of Jewish Intellectuals
The meetings of the club would be held once a month, engaging about 50-60 famous Jews-composers, film directors, actors, scientists and businessmen.

Women's Club
Women's club (about 20 participants) would arrange meetings once a month for learning the different aspects of Jewish lifestyle, such as Jewish cuisine, Jewish history of the city, etc.
